When: Saturday 15th May 9.30am Start

Seven northern beaches lie between Avalon and Narrabeen. Some are small and hidden by high dunes or cliffs like Turimetta, others are long and open like Mona Vale, but walking along all of them and up over the headlands makes for a satisfying and spectacular walk. The view from Mona Vale headland is the best on the Northern Beaches.

Meet at 9.30 am at Avalon beach, parking area by the Avalon Beach surf club.

The walk is approximately 4 hours (without photo/snack stops) finishing at the Sands Hotel, 1260 Pittwater Road, Narrabeen. Lunch is booked for 2.30.

After lunch at the end of the walk you will be taking the bus back to Avalon to pick up your car.

Parking at the surf club is a bit pricey ($8 an hour). For free parking options Bowling Green Lane, Bellevue Avenue, Kevin Avenue at jct with Barrenjoey Road and other streets round about are all within a short walk to the meet up. The other option for you early risers is to park at Narrabeen and take the Beeline B199 to Avalon Beach - buses leave approx. every 10 mins and take 30 minutes.
